Supervisor or head of a unit – apply for the “Boost your resources through movement” lecture series pilot
The lecture series pilot provides work units with information on exercise and how to get started as well as information on the significance of physical activity as a promoter of health. The lectures also cover motivation and creating goals and provide tools for drawing up a personal exercise plan. The lecture series consists of three 45-minute lectures held remotely under the guidance of Unisport’s personal trainer.
Lecture series pilot:
- Contents: 3 x 45 min remote lectures under the guidance of UniSport’s personal trainer. The topics include how to get started with exercise, motivation, the significance of physical activity as a promoter of health and how to draw up an exercise plan.
- Schedule: The lecture series starts in the weeks 10-11. The lectures are organised roughly every two weeks.
- Language: Finnish or English.
- Participants: The size of a work unit; 10–20 persons.
Applications are open 15–30 January 2025!
Sign your unit up by filling in the form between 15 and 30 January 2025. One work unit from each UniSport owner university will be selected for the pilot by way of a draw: Aalto University, Hanken, the University of Helsinki and the University of the Arts Helsinki. The results of the selection will be communicated to all applicants on 3–4 February 2025.
The lecture series is part of the University on the Move project funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In the pilot phase, feedback from participants is collected to develop the service.
