UniSport will open its facilities on Tuesday, the 1st of February, 2022

UniSport will reopen its facilities on Tuesday, the 1st of February following the new guidelines given by the Regional State Administrative Agency on the 31st of January. We will be gradually reopening our services, and this week we will still adhere to the exceptional opening hours.

Welcome back to our sports facilities!

Our facilities will be open according with our exceptional opening hours. Changing rooms as well as showers and saunas are in use normally. To see our opening hours, visit: here

Please notice that from the 1st of February onwards UniSport Meilahti will be a fully self-service centre without customer service.

Our services will reopen as follows:

Gym training

  • Gym training will be available as usual with a valid training card, 10-session punch cards or as a single-visit. We will not require reservations for gym training.
  • We will account for health and safety by rearranging our gym equipment and with enhanced hygiene measures.
  • Please comply with our health and safety instructions, which can be found at the end of this announcement.
  • If you wish to schedule your workout at a time when we are less busy, you can find data on the average number of visitors per hour in our sports centers on our website.
  • The visitor charts of Kumpula, Meilahti, Otaniemi and Töölö are based on the previous week's data whilst Kluuvi's visitor data is real-time. We will upload up-to-date charts next week. To see visitor data visit here.
  • Please note our exceptional opening hours. Our self-service gyms in Meilahti and Töölö will open tomorrow, on Tuesday at 6.45 AM. Otherwise, we are currently operating with exceptional opening hours. From Monday, the 7th of February onwards we will operate in accordance with our regular opening hours.

Group training

  • Group training will start indoors gradually from the 1st of February onwards.
  • From Tuesday the 1st of February, most of Kluuvi’s online classes will be held as hybrid classes; which means that you can attend the class also at Kluuvi.
  • Classes held in Kumpula, Porthania, Meilahti and Otaniemi between the 1st of February and the 7th of February will be available for booking once they are confirmed.
  • Group training classes held this week will be in accordance with our exceptional opening hours.
  • Group training classes in Viikki will start on Monday, the 7th of February.
  • From Tuesday, the 8th of February onwards we will offer group training classes in accordance to their normal schedule in all of our facilities.
  • The participant capacity in our group training classes is reduced. Please comply with the health and safety instructions that can be found at the end of this announcement.
  • Online-classes will continue as normal.

Other services

  • PT services, massage and single badminton reservations will continue normally.
  • Ball sports that are included in our training card will start from Monday, 7th February.
  • Ordered services, regular reservations and club activities will also start from Monday, 7th of February. Your contact person will email you with more information.

Welcome to work out safely!

You can use our facilities only when healthy. Be sure to take care of good hygiene. Wash your hands with soap thoroughly and often. If you cough or sneeze, use a handkerchief or sneeze into your elbow. Wear a face mask. Consider others by keeping a safe distance from them.

We will ensure a safe environment for training and working in UniSport sports facilities with the following procedures:

  • You can enter our facilities only when healthy.
  • We have enhanced our cleaning procedures; in addition to normal cleaning our staff will also carry out regular tidying rounds at our facilities.
  • Take care of good hand hygiene, wear a face mask and use a training towel.
  • Avoid spending unnecessary time in our facilities.

COVID-19 passport is not in use in UniSport’s facilities at the moment.
