Cross Training: courses

UniSport cross training courses offer a truly intense workout for those looking to develop their strength and endurance.

In the cross training you develop your strength, endurance and coordination in diverse ways. The course classes make use of equipment such as gym frames, barbells, and kettlebells, as well as using the participants’ own bodyweight. Each session begins with a focus on technique so that you learn the correct way to exercise. This is followed by a high-intensity exercise routine that changes for each session.

Who is it for?

The Cross Training beginners' course is suitable for those that have some prior exercise experience with, for example, gym workouts, bodyweight exercise or Bodypump.

To take the Cross Training intermediate course, you need to already have done the Cross Training beginners course or have some equivalent experience in areas such as barbell workouts. The course is based on weightlifting movements for which the correct techniques have already been practised in the beginners’ course. There is more emphasis on technique in the advanced course, giving you the confidence to train safely and more effectively with heavier weights. During this course, we will also practise other cross training movements.

How can I participate?

You can participate in cross training through the UniSport beginners' and intermediate courses. Bring stretchy sports clothes, gym shoes, a towel and a drinking bottle.
