Education

• Classical Massage Therapist, Helsinki College of Social and Health Care, 2010. I came to the university as a massage therapy intern, after which I stayed on at UniSport as a full-time massage therapist.
• I strive to strengthen my professional skills by participating in practical and interesting courses related to wellness services whenever circumstances allow.

Special Expertise

I’ve held many other jobs in the past, including working in an office for years, so I understand the challenges of computer-based work from personal experience. I’m also a cultural historian by training, and history and culture are close to my heart.

I strive to make the treatment relaxing through my touch and the pleasant atmosphere of the massage room. I strive to listen to the client as much as possible, including when adjusting the pressure of my touch. Classical music plays in the background – music I enjoy listening to myself.

My hobbies include jogging, fitness, gardening, opera, history, and literature. I’m the mother of two college-aged sons and live in Northern Helsinki, where I also have my own practice. I am fluent in massage terminology in Finnish, English, and, to a large extent, Latin.

I love my work, and I hope that shows.
