The Finnish Neurosonic technology uses patented low-frequency vibration that affects the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. UniSport is now expanding its wellbeing services with new Neurosonic divans, which members of the university community can book in Kluuvi and Otaniemi.

Finnish Neurosonic deepens relaxation and activates the body’s natural recovery mechanisms. Effects of the treatment include:

UniSport is enhancing its wellbeing services with new Neurosonic divans, which university students and staff can book for affordable 60-minute recovery sessions. Neurosonic Cubes will continue to be available free of charge for all our customers for shorter breaks.

The Neurosonic divans are located in the Wellbeing Rooms in Kluuvi and Otaniemi. You can access the room during your reservation with your access card or a PIN code.

Programs and recommendations

During your reservation, you can choose one or several programs (10–41 min). Start with low intensity settings and increase gradually. Relaxation and recovery programs are also suitable for improving sleep quality. In the Neurosonic app, you’ll find ready-made 10–41 minute programs in three main categories:

Activation

  • 12 min – Boosts alertness in the morning or during the day
  • 24 min – Strong activation; not recommended as a first program if you have challenges with sleep quality

Relaxation

  • 10 min – Quick refreshing break
  • 25 min – Best starting program; reduces stress and improves sleep
  • 39 min – Deep relaxation; activates metabolism

Recovery

  • 22 min – Muscle relaxation after exertion (in Gen2 devices)
  • 36 min – Energizing recovery after training
  • 41 min – Sleep-supporting recovery after late-evening exercise
