Iyengar Yoga: classes
In Iyengar Yoga, you develop your body awareness and learn more about asana (yoga position) techniques, which helps to ensure safe and efficient practice of yoga. You get to practice asana basics, safe methods and the use of exercise equipment. The exercises can be fitted to your own starting level and needs. The class may involve dynamic vinyasa-style routines, restorative exercises, or exercises that focus on precise movement. The classes develop strength, mobility and endurance.

Iyengar Yoga it is suitable for those that are just starting out with yoga or who are interested in yoga asana techniques. The classes make use of different exercise tools so that each person can find the right approach for the asana. The instructor seeks to take into account the participants’ individual needs and to provide suitable alternatives for everyone. You can also visit Iyengar Yoga class when you want to do a lighter or restorative training session.
How can I participate?
You can participate in Iyengar Yoga through the weekly group exercise classes.
If possible, you should bring your own yoga mat with you. A yoga mat allows you to exercise safely and efficiently, and is also hygienically a more pleasant option. If you like, you may also use an exercise mat available on-site.
In addition to the mat, you will need stretchy and warm clothes. We will be exercising without shoes. You can bring a drinking bottle if desired.
