Jessica Sharry instructs Ashtanga yoga at UniSport.
Jessica has been practicing yoga since 2000. She attended her first yoga teacher training with David Swenson 2002, and 2004 completed a 200-hour teacher training with Anthony “Prem” Carlisi and Rupali Embry, in Honolulu, Hawaii. In the year 2008 she took her first trip to Mysore, India to study at KPJAYI (world famous Ashtanga Yoga school) and 2014 received the ‘blessing’ (Level One Authorization) from her teacher R. Sharath Jois, to teach the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga.
What inspires her to continue practicing yoga, is the health of body and mind experienced through consistent daily practice. For Jessica yoga is a life-long practice, which goes beyond the mat — it is balance in all areas of life, as Jessica sees it.
